About

Our Mission: From our founding, we have been dedicated to educating the TUSDM communities about issues surrounding global health. Whether it be mission trips, health education, or even everyday conversations, our purpose is to inform and inspire members of TUSDM to approach global health with the principles of sustainability and cultural sensitivity we hold dear.

What is GHSA?

  • Learn about global oral health needs, TUSDM opportunities to travel internationally to provide treatment and preventative education
  • Explore the many differences in the organization of dentistry, dental education, and patient care services in other countries
  • Provides a forum with the needed encouragement and support for a successful volunteer experience
  • Provide students with an introduction to the values and purposes of the ICD
  • Prepare students as future professional leaders in the global community

ICD Mission:
“The International College of Dentists is a leading honor society for dentists dedicated to the recognition of outstanding professional achievement and meritorious service and the continued progress of dentistry for the benefits of all humankind.”
