About
The primary goal of the Dental Anesthesiology Club (DAC) is to provide an expanded knowledge of the duties, principles, and opportunities that dental anesthesiology entails along with guidance and advice about the dental anesthesiology residency program. As a new student group DAC will utilize many resources; including PG students from DA programs around the country, OMFS faculty from TUSDM, and other guest speakers to achieve the mission statement. Participation in DAC will give TUSDM students the opportunity to better understand the field of Dental Anesthesiology and what all it is becoming as a new specialty.
The second goal of DAC is to create a network to engage and bring together students who are interested in dental anesthesiology as a future career or those who just want to learn more about what Dental Anesthesiology entails. This will be beneficial for answering questions, creating collaborations, and empowering each other as a club and as a cohort. Furthermore, the uniting of students and faculty facilitates connections and mentorships when either applying to programs or when seeking to build knowledge of the dental field in general. DAC will be open to all individuals regardless of future endeavors as dental professionals.
