Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

This past Tuesday, Nov. 16, the Bates Student Research Group and the Department of Research Administration hosted their annual Student-Faculty Research Mixer event in the 15th floor Alumni Lounge.

The purpose of the event was to provide students an opportunity to get to know some of the faculty conducting dental research at Tufts. Attendees were also exposed to a few of the many projects currently being worked on by current dental students. About 100 students spanning all dental classes attended the mixer and also participated in raffle drawings for gift cards, wine bottles, and even a Water pik! We hope everyone had a great time at the mixer and was able to find a project that they were interested in!

If there are any lingering questions about student research at Tufts Dental, please do not hesitate to reach out to Eileen Doherty (Director of Predoctoral Student Research) or Raafay Rishi (D23, President of BSRG).

See you at Bates Day in 2022!
