In addition to these tips from Tufts Health Sciences students, try using a mindfullness/ meditation app like Smiling Mind, which is free to use and has meditation options designed by psychologists. Wellness Advising Intern Liz tried Smiling Mind and liked how simple and easy to use it is. It’s also entirely free, and has great settings for nighttime/ bedtime meditations. They produce meditations designed for students, as well as professionals.

Turnstyle Spin Class: Friday, October 15th
Located at 310 Harrison Ave at Ink Block, just before Wholefoods.
Join your classmates on October 15th at 1:30PM for a free and private Tufts spin class at Turnstyle!
The class will be 45 minutes of energetic spinning, weights, and dancing along to the music. All experience levels are welcome! Come to celebrate finishing an exam, de-stress to start your weekend off right, or for a fun way to get to know your classmates and colleagues! Bring exercise clothes, a water bottle, and some energy to get moving, and Turnstyle will take care of the rest!

Student Wellness Advising continues to be a friendly and accessible hub of support for all students on the Health Science Campus. The Wellness Advisor, Snaggs, works with all students to offer practical approaches to manage everyday stressors and challenges. Some of the services she provides include:

- Confidential and private wellness advising
- Triage and referral to psychiatrists and clinicians/therapists as needed
- Works with students to find Primary Care Physician (PCP) in Greater Boston area

Student Wellness Advisory Committee:
The Student Wellness Advisory Committee (SWAC) acts as a liaison to the Student Wellness Advisor. SWAC is comprised of a diverse group of student volunteers from all programs on the Boston Health Science Campus.
