Tufts HDA had a strong presence in the National HDA Student Regional at UPenn Dental this past weekend. One of our own Gabriel Perez (D23) took on the leadership role of National HDA Student Trustee for this event. Gabriel has planned this event for months and was a host/moderator. We applaud him for his hard work and are proud he is a jumbo!

During the event, Tufts HDA had the pleasure of winning 1st place in a national video contest called “Orgullo.” We would like to give a shout out to our own President-Elect Marely Estrada (D23) for directing the video, Diana Alberich (D23) as the “Tooth Fairy” and Marisabel Correa (D24) as the teenager in the video, Cassandra Escobedo (D24) for planning, and Nicolette Bulaon (D23) for filming/editing. This year’s Student Regional was very memorable for Tufts HDA and we are looking forward for more members to join next year!
