Tufts HDA mission is to:
What is Hispanic Heritage Month?
“Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration of the history and culture of the U.S. Latinx and Hispanic communities. The event, which spans from September 15 to October 15, commemorates how those communities have influenced and contributed to American society at large.”
Hyde Square Task Force is a non-profit in Jamaica Plain that offers art programs for youth and connects community members through events. If you are interested in joining the HSTF team as a volunteer, you can submit an online application today!
Their mission is [to] amplify the power, creativity, and voices of youth, connecting them to Afro-Latin culture and heritage so they can create a diverse, vibrant Latin Quarter and build a just, equitable Boston.
The Boston Latino International Film Festival has been committed to using the power of film to break stereotypes, bring cultures and communities together and reveal the complex issues that affect the Latinx community in the United States, Latin America and Spain.
The festival will take place September 24 – October 3, 2021
