Attention D25s! Class Election Information

Please save the dates for the following sessions relating to the D25 class elections. Even if you do not intend to run for an elected position, you are  encourage you to attend the two information sessions. The information sessions will provide information about how your elected class leadership will represent you, and what qualities make for a good representative in each role. These meetings will be recorded and made available to your class for viewing as well.

Important Dates

Wednesday September 1st: Class Officer Information Session, 4:00-5:00 pm (via Zoom)

Friday, September 3rd: Speech writing and presentation support by Nancy Marks 3:30 – 4:30 (must preregister)

Tuesday September 7th: Election signup sheets will be posted online, 9 am

Wednesday September 8th: Committee Representative Information Session, 4:00-5:00 pm (via Zoom)

Sunday, September 12th: Speech writing and presentation support by Nancy Marks 5:00 – 6:00 pm (must preregister)

Tuesday September 14th: Election signups will close and list of the nominees sent out at 4 pm

D25 Class Elections!!

Wednesday September 15th: D25 Class elections, 12:15 – 1:15 pm (in Merritt Auditorium)

Attached is a full listing of the positions with their descriptions for you to review in advance of the info sessions. If you are planning to run, please keep in mind that your speech will be capped at 2 minutes maximum and no media (PowerPoints, videos, etc.) will be permitted. You may only run for one position. Karen Alexander will explain the election process in more detail during the information sessions.

Speech Writing Workshop

Nancy Marks is also running speechwriting workshops on Friday September 3rd and 3:30 pm and Sunday September 12th and 5 pm for D25s who are running for a class officer position and who would like some pointers on speech writing and presentation before the class elections.
