Dr. Aidee Nieto-Herman, Associate Professor of the Dept. Of Periodontology and President/CEO of the Hispanic International Mission (HIM) organized the Give a Kid Smile (GAKS) event with Tufts student, Gabriel Perez D’23 and other HIM volunteer dentists. Together they serviced a total of 56 children aged 5-7 years old. The event included: oral hygiene instructions, live entertainment, tooth fairy videos, nutrition, art crafts, as well as gifts and toys related to the theme.
