Meet this Week’s Jumbo of the Week: Nickeisha Louis-Elias (D23)!
Undergraduate Education: Bachelor of Science and minor in Psychology from St. Joseph’s College in New York
Positions of Leadership at TUSDM: Orientation Leader for D24 class, Women in Leadership event facilitator, member of SNDA & HDA (I participate in volunteer opportunities with both)
Favorite Thing about TUSDM/Why you chose Tufts: Favorite thing: The sense of community. I feel supported academically and emotionally by my classmates and upperclassmen.
Why I chose Tufts: The diversity and sense of inclusion. Tufts was the most racially/culturally diverse school I interviewed at, and they made me feel that they wanted me to attend instead of me needing to prove myself yet again over the course of the long application process. On my interview day, Tufts made me feel accomplished, appreciated, and wanted.
Fun Fact About yourself/Things involved in outside of School: Fun fact: I love to draw original cartoons in my free time. One day I hope to write and illustrate my own children’s book!
Outside of school: I love hiking, kick-boxing, going on long bike rides, going to the beach, and trying new foods!!
