Positions of leadership at TUSDM: Fairfield Operative Liaison

Favorite thing(s) about Tufts and/or Boston?: A few things that stand out to me about Tufts is the genuine diversity, promotion of mind-body wellness practices and the commitment to global leadership in oral health. My favorite thing about Boston is that it’s such a walkable city. I love going for walks during my study breaks. Whenever I take off from either the school or library, it feels like an adventure every time and I always find myself discovering something new.

Fun Fact(s) about yourself and/or hobbies?: Fun Fact about me is that I studied abroad in Spain for a semester to become fluent in Spanish. I grew up with a Spanish last name due to my Cuban roots but never spoke the language, so I made it my duty to learn and fully embrace my identity. Speaking of identity, I’m a TRUE southerner. I lived in Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi prior to New England. As for hobbies, I absolutely love to travel. You can always catch me on the next flight out somewhere or planning a trip for sure!!
