Box for Health, the nonprofit company launched by Omar Harmouche, D21, MG21 (MPH), and Alia Osseiran, D22, has already reached more than 4,200 Lebanese children.

The global pandemic, COVID-19, has brought upon many challenges. Despite the ongoing challenges faced in the pandemic, these dental students found a way to help youth across the globe by founding a nonprofit company named Box for Health.

Tufts’ very own “Omar Harmouche and Alia Osseiran set out to develop a way to teach children in Lebanon, a country where they each have family ties, about oral hygiene and other healthy habits.” The two so far have been able to provide oral health education to over 4,200 Lebanese children.
