Community Corner!
Have you tried something fun, new, and exciting during the pandemic? Do you have a story you want to share? We want to hear from you! We would like for you to share anything you are comfortable sharing with our community, in hopes that we can all feel more connected. Let’s support and inspire each other.
A few suggestions are…
Photos of pets, photos of past trips that bring you joy, photos from over the break, lists of things that bring you joy, a form of creative expression, i.e. illustration, creative writing, something you’ve made; a bit about yourself, a playlist that brings you joy, a favorite or family recipe, favorite current or classic show or movie and why, or one thing that inspired you this week. Any content is welcome, as we would love to continue to foster a strong sense of community!
This community corner submission is brought to us by Caroline Nelson. Caroline, TUSDM, 2024, Golden Doodle, Harvey Pickles, brings her joy and is a great stress reliever. This is a photo she has shared with her high school students in the past before they took a test.
This year I am most excited to start operative class and I hope to see a heavy snowfall that sticks to the ground!
Also, check out this feel good Spotify playlist courtesy of Caroline to help unwind during a stressful moment or week.
Tufts Health Science Campus welcomes a new program Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Class!
Tufts DPT program is an accelerated, hybrid program delivered by faculty members and contributors who are dedicated educators, clinicians, researchers, and leaders in the physical therapy profession. The curriculum blends the best aspects of virtual learning activities and interactions, 8 onsite clinical laboratory sessions in Boston, and integrated clinical education experiences. In January 2021, the DPT welcomed their inaugural cohort of 88 students representing 29 different states, 27 different undergraduate majors, and with 42% of students identifying their race and ethnicity to be diverse (other than Caucasian). We are excited to welcome them to the community!
In the Kitchen:

We want to hear from you!
We want to collaborate with you on our Instagram feed! We are looking for students who want to share an inspirational quote, delicious & easy recipe, wellness tip, or socially distant activity idea.
