D24s launch virtual fundraiser for Pine Street Inn.
Pine Street Inn is a non-profit combating homelessness in Boston. They provide services such as emergency shelter, recovery substance treatment, workforce development programs, and veterans’ housing. They also partner with St. Francis House who also provides other services like hot meals, clothing, and other items to the community.
This fundraiser is perfect timing to help contribute funds before the holidays and cold weather hit. Kennedy and Arika, D24 Community Service liaisons are hoping that anyone able and willing to partake in this fundraiser will contribute a $1-3 dollar donation. They are collecting money through Debora’s venmo at @debora-yoon. This program will run from today, November 6th to Friday, November 20th and the goal is to raise $250 for this organization.
