Please join the Hirsh Health Sciences Library in our first Anti-Racism Reading Group discussion on Friday, October 23 from 12pm to 1pm EST on Zoom! This event will not be recorded. Register for the event using this link.
The purpose of this first reading group session is to foster an interdisciplinary dialogue in acknowledging the problem and understanding the impact of specifically anti-Black racism in the health sciences. We hope this will be an empowering space of learning and unlearning that will catalyze change in your respective departments, disciplines, and fields. We are asking each participant to read the selected reading for their discipline. Participants may select an additional reading from another discipline as well. See the list of readings using this link.
We hope this will be an empowering space of learning and unlearning that will catalyze change in your respective departments, disciplines, and fields. We’re excited to see you all there!
