Tufts University School of Dental Medicine is participating in the national 2020 ADA Health Literacy in Dentistry Essay Contest. This year’s essay topic, Why Your Dentist Wants You To Get The HPV Vaccine, reflects the recent FDA approval of the HPV vaccine for the prevention of oropharyngeal cancer.
The contest begins on September 15th, and the deadline to submit your essay to Dr. Nicole Holland (Nicole.Holland@tufts.edu) is October 30th. The contest winner will receive $1,000, and the winning essay will be posted on the ADA public website www.mouthhealthy.org. Two (2) runners-up will receive $500 each.
