Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

Thank you all Smile Squad members for your efforts, participation and time this year. We had a very productive year filled with many events, both small and large. This club would not have been able to have such a strong presence at Tufts without all of your help. I’d also like to extend a special thank you and congratulations to our former E-Board members, Thais, Sara and Katie as well as all our graduating 4th years. Thank you very much for your leadership and I look forward to following your successful careers.

As you may have expected we are not going to have an in-person meeting this year for our end of the year meeting/elections, so we are going to proceed forward with virtual elections.

All members, whether or not you want to run for e-board, please fill out the survey by Monday, April 27! https://forms.gle/xkAb7TnhCHvcGAUg9

For the 2020-2021 E-Board we are particularly looking for D22s and D23s to step up into these leadership roles! Please fill out the survey if you have participated in Smile Squad events this year and are interested in joining the board of an active, fun, volunteer-based club! Those that are interested in joining our E-Board should prepare a very short blurb to tell us why you want to be a part of the board during the zoom meeting. The details of each role are below:

Roles Available:
Vice President– helping the President organize and run events, attending nearly all events, will presumably step into the President role for the following year
Secretary– writing Dental Central posts, documenting our events with photos and blurbs to Tufts
Treasurer- coordinate with Dr. Wallach about our endowment and coordinate about re-stocking inventory
D21, D22, D23 Class Reps- publicize events to your class, participate in events, help recruit D24 rep!

If you have any questions, please contact Lauren Lubowitz at lauren.lubowitz@tufts.edu
