TUSDM was named the recipient of the American Association of Dental Research (AADR) National Student Research Group (NSRG) contest for most student abstracts—thirty-five—accepted to the 2020 IADR/AADR/CADR General Session in Washington, D.C. The event, scheduled for March 18-21, was cancelled due to COVID-19. TUSDM was also recognized for having the highest number of new AADR members in 2019–2020 with forty-two new members. Each award comes with a $200 prize for TUSDM’s student research group. Congratulations to the students and Professor Eileen Doherty, associate professor of comprehensive care and senior director of predoctoral student research.
