Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

The Hispanic Student Dental Association will be starting our yearly Spanish Terminology Course!!

It will cover basic Spanish terminology to start, then dental terminology that we can use every day in the clinic, in practice, and on international trips to properly communicate to our Spanish speaking patients. The class will consist of a brief lecture and break out practice sessions with your peers for an interactive experience.

Each class will take place from 12-1 PM  in room 773 (unless otherwise noted due to class size). The dates are 3/20, 3/25, 4/1, 4/6 and 4/8.
Dates 4/6 and 4/8 will be in room 770.

Last year we added a small twist, where we held a small presentation on a different Hispanic country each day, that included snacks from that specific country! This year we have also decided to add another fun twist! We will be including a POCKET SIZED booklet, as well as, a Tufts Hispanic Dental Association PEN for you to always have handy!

This course is $15 for current HDA members, but is also available to non-members for $25 for the entire course. This price includes the presentation, food, booklet and pen!
