“On Friday, four members of the D22 class represented TUSDM by volunteering at Cradles to Crayons. This organization provides kids in low-income families with the essential items they need (i.e. clothing, toys, books). Together, Janki Shingala, Rodrick (Donnie) Wiggins, Shikha Gupta and Bailey Waterscheid, helped to assemble clothing packs for various age groups of boys and girls. We had a great time putting together outfits for children, especially because the winter months can be so difficult to be prepared for. Cradles to Crayons is an incredible organization that makes volunteering exciting, fun and engaging. Just that day, we were able to make an impact on the lives of hundreds of children. We loved the opportunity to volunteer with them and hope to continue to do so in the future!”
