The coalition of Boston dental students and dentists are working to reform the dental licensure process here in Massachusetts. A group of dental students from Tufts, BU, and Harvard met Wednesday night to discuss the current licensure process, the key stakeholders, and next steps to support MA House Bill 4269. The text of the bill can be found here:

The mission of this coalition is to engage local and national dental licensing stakeholders in discussion and action reviewing the past, present, and future of obtaining a license to practice dentistry in the commonwealth of Massachusetts in a valid, ethical, and equitable manner.
We will be meeting next week, January 16th from 5:00 – 6:30 PM at BU Dental for a conversation with a BORID (Board of Registration in Dentistry) representative regarding the licensure process.
With unified support, we can improve the licensing process for future dental students!
Thank you for your consideration!
