Reflections by Smile Squad

“On Saturday, 11/16 D23s, D22s, D21s and D20s from Smile Squad volunteered at Cradles to Crayons in Brighton. This organization helps to serve underprivileged babies and children in the Boston area by packing the essential supplies they need to keep warm in the winter, excel in school and be able to focus on being kids. The Smile Squad, along with other volunteers were able to help out more than 1,000 kids! One of the most inspiring parts of this event is that they focus on quality products that will make recipients feel good about their items. Lauren Lubowitz, D21 and the Smile Squad Vice President, reflects that “volunteering with Cradles to Crayons always reminds me how lucky I am to have a warm coat and the supplies I need to succeed. Being able to make sure more children in Boston have these supplies makes me feel like I am making a real difference to people in my community.”

Thank you to all our volunteers for making this event a success!”
