It is with great pleasure and excitement for me to announce that the Tufts Dental military HPSP club in partnership with the Office of Student Affairs will sponsor 100 participants in the annual DAV (Disabled American Veterans) 5K run and 1 mile Walk/Run on November 9, 2019 at 10AM at Castle Island in South Boston.
Last year we had about 130 Tufts Dental participants; we hope that you will join the effort this year. Join the students and other faculty and staff in the almost pleasurable 5K run. Well, it’s just fun to be together in this type of environment. I’ve attached a photo of last year’s DAV 5K.
You are invited to participate this year with our Tufts Dental team. To register please visit https://www.dav5k.boston/ . Firstclick Register, second click Tickets, third click Team and type in Tufts Dental. To enter the promotional code, click Enter Promotional Code in the top right of the window (see attached images). The promo code is JumbosDAV19 . Once you do this, the promotional code will make the ticket free for the first 100 sign ups. After this, we would still love for you to join our team , but we will not be able to cover the cost of registration. The team is open to all students, faculty, staff, family members and friends. We currently have 73 of the 100 spots filled
Those that register are asked for a suggested donation of $5 to $10 via Venmo to @Brandi-Schoenthaler. This donation will be used to further support the DAV as well as our own Service with a Smile outreach.
