Global Service Learning (GSL) Committee Student Member Application

Call for applications to be a student member of the Global Service Learning (GSL) Committee. The GSL Committee is requesting interested students who may like to be more involved in GSL activities to serve as representative of their class to the GSL Committee.
Functions of the GSL Committee: Global Service Learning Committee (GSLC) will oversee the GSL program, including:·
- Vetting proposals from faculty who want to establish GSL sites,
- Reviewing applications of students who want to participate in GSL experiences as requested·
- Monitoring and evaluating GSL activities
Composition of the GSL Executive Committee includes the Director of Global Service Learning, who will chair the committee, the Associate Deans of Academic Affairs, Global Relations, Student Affairs, the Chair of the Department of Public Health and Community Service, and a Faculty Project Site Director Representative the Director of Community Service Learning Externship (ex officio), a representative from Tufts Global Operations (ex officio). One student from each DMD will be invited to GSL Committee Meetings.
Meeting Frequency: 1 or 2 times per year or more frequently as needed.
Activities of the student representatives: Give input at GSL meetings; Communicate GSL activities to their respective classes.
