Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

Generation Vote is a new student-driven nonpartisan organization whose mission is to educate, mobilize and connect young people to be agents of change in local electoral and advocacy campaigns. To accomplish their mission they developed a model of engagement in which students start a team on their campus, use surveys to develop platforms that reflect the interests of local young people and drive turnout based on their ideas. Throughout the process, they train young people with our unique curriculum and offer them mentorship from their team of experienced activists and advisors.

GenVote students have helped swing one of the most competitive House races in the country, taken a lead role in a statewide advocacy campaign and helped drive turnout on their campuses. They are currently seeking students who are interested in starting a team on their campus, and they can work with your school to provide internship credit for your work.
