Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

On Friday, January 25, Vendita Correia (D20), Kelsey Bjornson (D22), Miranda Boynton (D22), Kathryn Sierra (D22), and Haley Jane Sicard (D22) spent their morning volunteering at Brockton Area ARC. There they were able to provide head and neck exams, oral screenings, OHI, and applied fluoride varnish to teeth of patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The TUSDM students described their experience as both humbling and rewarding. They would like to thank AADMD for the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills that they work each day to develop in order to provide the best patient care possible.
