On October 29th, Chris Hines (D22), Konstance Joseph (D21), Heather Smith (D20), Adjoa Baidoo (D21), Evan Gallegos (D21), and Amanda McKane (D21) volunteered at the St. Francis House to promote oral health care and good hygiene habits.
Evan Gallegos (D21) reflects: “We were able to hand out 100 toothbrushes and toothpastes to the St. Francis House community members who were very eager to learn more about their oral health. They demonstrated modifications, of their brushing and oral hygiene habits, that a dental student recommended, on a large typodont to ensure they were advancing their oral disease prevention techniques.”
