Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

This past week, the HDA started it’s Spanish Terminology Course. Over 50 students came out on Friday 4/20 to learn basic Spanish phrases and terminology to communicate with patients. The lesson was presented by Sandy Perez (D19), Sandy Lopez (D20), and was facilitated through Dr. Martha Forero through interactive break out sessions. Next Friday we will transition from introductions and medical history to review of anatomy and more dental terminology!
