Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health. 

In just over 1 month, the 9th Annual ASDA District I Student Debate will be held at Yankee Dental Congress in the BCEC Ballroom, 3rd Floor on Saturday, January 27th at 4:30pm. This event is complimentaryRSVP required.

The Debate will feature multiple rounds of friendly competition between all FIVE District I schools plus a pre-dental team. Teams will face off arguing pertinent policy and ethical issues fronting students and practitioners alike.

Immediately following the Debate, the new All Work and No Play Reception will be held in the Ballroom6:30 – 8:30 pm. The reception will feature a DJ, Food, Drinks, Photo booth, Games, and Networking BINGO – a great opportunity to meet other District I students, local dentists, and to win prizes! The Crest & Oral-B ASDA Challenge winners will also be announced at the Reception. All Debate attendees will receive a drink ticket.

This year’s debate will kick off with The Ten Under 10 awards, presented by MDS President, Dr. David Lustbader. This award is to acknowledge 10 new dentists who strive to make a significant contribution to the profession and/or community.
