Today starts the annual Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP)‘s Troop Drive to collect items and donations to be sent to our troops overseas during the Holidays. Every noontime hour until next Tuesday 11/21, a table will be set up in the 4th floor Sackler cafeteria for collection. Popular items include DVDs, CDs, holiday decorations, T-shirts, work out items, magazines, candy etc. If you donate cash, it’ll help with the postage or be used to purchase items. Just imagine yourself being overseas, far from home, serving your country. What would you like to receive? What would pleasantly surprise you?
In addition, if you have a relative or know someone serving overseas in the military; email Dr. Rankin before Thanksgiving to make sure they receive something during the Holidays!
