Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

On October 20, Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) volunteered in East Boston to promote oral health care to children and members of the community.

Nicolette Angioli (D19) reflects: “So far HDA has had multiple events in East Boston with the Most Holy Redeemer Parish. They have been very successful events for both the children who attend and the TUSDM community. The children look forward to our visits and are very engaged in learning about oral health. The Tufts students really enjoy interacting with the children and being able to volunteer in a Hispanic community.”
