Tufts has bonded together as a community to deliver items for Hurricane Harvey relief.
The first shipment was delivered to City Hall! A huge thank you to Jonathan Pierpoline (D21)‘s ongoing efforts liaising with Houston!
We have found out the following items are still needed for Houston:
– Men’s (women’s to a lesser extent) underwear (for first responders and those displaced)
– Women feminine items and toiletries (toothbrushes, mouthwash, bars of soap etc.)
We will also start collecting items for donation to those affected by Hurricane Irma. ASDA donation boxes are located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor patient waiting areas the 7th floor student lounge and the library!
Items that are needed:
Non perishable food items
Men’s underwear
Women’s feminine items
Toiletries (soap, shampoo etc)
Toothbrushes
Mouthwash
Blankets
Pillows
