The 2015-2016 TUSDM Health Literacy Intensive (HLI) students are hosting a Teach-Back Workshop on June 13, 2016 from 7-9pm.

‘Teach-Back’ is a health literacy-related communication method used to facilitate patient understanding in a clinical setting.This workshop is open to members of the TUSDM community who are interested in learning about the Teach-Back method and how to apply it clinically. This interactive workshop will help you:

  1. Learn the teach-back method and the key components for effectively using it
  2. Understand the value of the teach-back method to improve patient care
  3. Practice applying the knowledge and skills learned at the workshop

Space is limited to 40 people. Please RSVP to Mijung Myung by 10am by Friday 6/10/16. RSVP confirmations with further instruction will be sent on a first-come, first-served basis.
