Building student involvement, fostering civic engagement and enhancing community service to advance public health.

Apply to secure funding for your community outreach initiative or collaborative research project through Tufts Institute for Innovation’s

Student Seed Funding program!

Applications due June 10th, 2016.

Does your student group or team need funding?  TII funds student-driven campus programming, collaborative research, and/or community outreach that exemplify TII’s philosophy and over-arching mission.  In the past, TII funded Tufts Synthetic Biology, an under-grad Tufts student group focused on “benefitting human health and the environment through biological engineering.”

TII is especially interested in solution-focused projects that tackle a health issue from a variety of disciplinary angles – physical, psychological, cultural, economic, etc.  For example, applicants might be funded to organize a multidisciplinary symposium or to create a pilot mobile app focused on smoking-cessation.
