For the past several weeks, the Hispanic Dental Association (HDA) has been collecting donations to deliver to Rosie’s Place, whose mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. Liz, Kim, Jimmy, Dr. Correa and I (see photo) delivered the 3 boxes (full) of items for Rosie’s Place on Friday afternoon.
Cara at Rosie’s Place was very appreciative and said they are starting to deliver gifts next week. They estimate they will give gifts to 500 women and 200 kids this holiday season. You all helped make these gifts possible.
