Do you have an interest in working with children? Do you want to get involved in a community service opportunity?
ASDA is hosting the Smile, Share and Care Program where volunteers go to the YMCA daycare/ pre-K across the street from the Tufts Medical Center on most Monday afternoons. We usually read one or two stories to the children and then play with them with some interactive stuffed animals. It’s a great way for us dental students to impress upon these little guys that dentists are cool people who want to take care of them.
If you are interested, please sign up via the spreadsheet below. We meet Monday afternoons at 4:00pm at the dental school and then walk over together to the YMCA. It runs until approximately 5:00pm.
