Walk to class or the coffee shop instead of taking the T. Meet up with friends to turn your walk into a chance to socialize. Make a special playlist of walking music to help motivate you. You’ll feel more accomplished/healthier, and be surprised by how easy it is to walk for wellness.
Chapters will compete against each other to see who can walk the most total steps this month. The winning chapter will win lunch and the individual ASDA member with the most steps will win a $100 gift card.
The National Leadership Conference (NLC), held in Chicago from November 17-19, bridges the gap between the classroom and the real world by providing leadership training to dental students across all years. NLC also hosts social events to help students build their network of future colleagues early on.
NLC has something to offer to every ASDA member. You’ll learn about dental issues, meet 600+ dental students from across the country and develop the skills needed to be a successful business owner and team leader.
NLC features four tracks of sessions dedicated to the topics dental students care about and need to know. You’ll hear from past alumni, current leaders and professional experts regarding career planning, leadership fundamentals, personal development and wellness, and much more. All sessions are geared toward making you a well-rounded leader in the profession of dentistry.
